If you have never handled bees before and/or wish to learn more about joining us, why not come along to one of our apiary meetings during the summer or to an evening meeting during the winter to see what beekeeping is all about?

We have four categories of membership, to suit all needs.

FULL MEMBERSHIP  £21.50

PARTNER MEMBERSHIP £14.24
This is for ‘spouses and partners living at the same address of a BBKA registered member’. It includes Public Liability Insurance for beekeeping activities.

BEGINNER WITHOUT BEES £15.00
Beginners may attend all meetings and will receive guidance from experienced beekeepers plus the monthly Newsletter. Beginners are expected to upgrade to full membership when they acquire bees.

FRIEND £5.00
This category is for those who no longer keep bees, or for full members of other divisions. Friends are welcome to attend meetings and receive the monthly Newsletter.

The monthly Newsletter is sent by email. If you prefer to receive the Newsletter by post there is an additional annual charge of £3.50 to all of the above subscription fees.
